MDF Excellence: Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF), a widely-used engineered timber product, is created by bonding wood fibers through heat and pressure. The result is an exceptionally strong, smooth panel that remains unaffected by humidity, in contrast to solid wood, which can expand and contract. MDF, especially when painted, is a reliable, practical, and attractive material for furniture manufacturing or as a solid core to support a handsome veneer finish.
Solid Support: Crucial weight-bearing components, particularly the bed’s legs, are expertly crafted from solid rubberwood, enhancing the bed’s overall strength and stability.
Slat Roll Foundation: To ensure durability and robustness, Bedtime utilizes rolled bed slats made from engineered ply. This slat roll foundation effectively supports the mattress, eliminating the need for a separate mattress base (please note that the mattress is sold separately).
Safety First: Safety is a top priority at Bedtime. We exclusively use non-toxic paint and sealers that are free of lead, phthalates, and formaldehyde in the crafting of our furniture products. These finishes not only promote a safe environment but also create a smooth, low-sheen surface that is both robust and easy to clean.
Safety Guidelines: To ensure safety, the top bunk is not recommended for children under 9 years old, and it is crucial to ensure that the mattress depth on the top bunk does not exceed 200mm. This bunk bed is compatible with a matching Trundle, offering additional functionality, but it is not designed to be separated into two individual beds. Self-assembly is required, and it is recommended to have two people involved for ease and safety.
