MDF Excellence: Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF), a widely acclaimed engineered timber product, is formed by bonding wood fibers through heat and pressure. The result is an exceptionally strong, smooth panel that does not succumb to expansion and contraction under humidity, a common trait of solid wood. This makes MDF, especially when painted, an ideal material for crafting furniture or serving as a reliable core to support a handsome veneer finish.
Solid Support: Weight-bearing elements, specifically the bed’s legs, are exclusively crafted from solid Rubberwood, further enhancing the bed’s overall strength and stability.
Slat Roll Foundation: To ensure strength and durability, we utilize rolled bed slats made from engineered ply. This slat roll foundation provides robust mattress support, eliminating the need for a separate mattress base (please note that the mattress is sold separately).
Safety First: Bedtime’s commitment to safety includes using non-toxic paint and sealers free of lead, phthalates, and formaldehyde on all our furniture products. Our finishes not only create a safe environment but also deliver a smooth, low-sheen surface that is both sturdy and easy to clean.
Safety Guidelines: For safety reasons, the top bunk is not recommended for children under 9 years old. The ladder’s position is adaptable to any corner, enhancing convenience and flexibility. It’s crucial to ensure that the mattress depth on the top bunk does not exceed 200mm for safety purposes. The bunk is also compatible with a matching Trundle, offering additional functionality.
Designed as a Whole: This bunk bed is a complete and cohesive piece of furniture, not intended to be separated into two individual beds. Self-assembly is required, and for ease and safety, we recommend the involvement of two individuals.
